San Diego Miramar Lions Club attended the annual La Mesa Lions Club spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Thursday, March 23rd. Taking its Annual Spaghetti Dinner to a higher level fundraiser this year, it was an engaging night for the La Mesa Lions Club, and with thousands of dollars donated during a “live auction,” a one-of-a-kind event. There was plenty of time to see friends, meet new ones and a great spaghetti dinner for all. Held at the La Mesa Community Center on March 23, 2023 it was a great night for the Lions and a impressive fundraiser for the many charities it provides for the community. La Mesa Lions Club President David Shaw said that they worked hard to “take it up a notch” this year, with a lot of planning and hard work behind the event. Shaw was delighted at the turnout and enthusiasm of all the people. This is one of the La Mesa Lions’ major fundraisers for the year for the many services it offers the community. Involved in the Lions in Sight Project, donating used glasses and a clinic to give good vision to the underserved, the Lions serve both its community and the world with its many ongoing programs.
