San Diego Padres: Pedal for the Cause – CANCER research. The SDMLC PRIDE donated money to the local ball club – San Diego Padres – as they raised awareness of CANCER and ways to combat it via research. Our 1st Vice President, Lion Sandi, educated the club about the upcoming activity and her participation with her family. Lion Sandi is an active sports enthusiast, and was a “sports mom” as her kids were growing up. Knowing the importance of combatting cancer and supporting one of LCI’s main causes, she helped get the PRIDE engaged in a very worthwhile fundraiser.
