n March 2021, the Lions of the San Diego Miramar Lions Club (SDMLC) performed their annual “3K WALK-RUN” fundraising event to help raise awareness and funding for the children who are suffering from cancer, and hematology/oncology research programs. Over $500+ were raised by our proud Lion PRIDE who safely walked and ran for the kids. All 3K raised funds were then used to help with the purchase of non-toxic arts, crafts, paints, brushes, clay, beads, and more to gift to the kids in resident at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is one of the top cancer medical facilities treating kids with this condition. The SDMLC PRIDE was fortunate to have this opportunity to purchase creative projects for the kids to complete while hospitalized.
