Each year, National Wreaths Across America Day takes place in December to remember our fallen military while educating future generations about its importance. This coordinated event takes place at 3700 locations across the United States, at sea, and at home. Join this project by offering to sponsor a veterans wreath at a cemetery near you or volunteering to help on the designated day in your location. This year, in December 2022, the SDMLC purchased five wreaths from Wreaths Across America for the holiday remembrance project at the Miramar National Cemetery. There are currently 11,000+ members of our fallen military men and women buried there. Please know…we remember.
