District 4L6 held the MD4 District Level Student Speaker Contest that took place on April 22, 2023 at the San Diego Blind Community Center. The San Diego Miramar Lions Club attended the Student Speaker Contest to support the clubs and district. The Saturday contest had four (4) high school speakers who were completing on the topic of “Social Media – does it help us or hurt us?”.
Each contestant had to speak on the same topic for a limited time period without the use of a clock or alarm, and had to express their opinion on the topic. The declared winner received a District level monetary award via check, and will go on to compete at the next level in SOCAL/area. Good luck contestants!
