The San Diego Lions Scholarship Foundation holds a meeting every other month in the Lion Clubhouse located in National City, CA. The committee of Lions from various clubs attend to work toward the creation, building, and awarding of multiple scholarships for deserving college-bound students that are selected once a year and awarded at a lunch or dinner ceremony. During the May 2022 meeting, San Diego Miramar Lions Club attended the evening San Diego Lions Scholarship Foundation Meeting and the President, Dr. Elizabeth Yoe, San Diego Miramar Lions Club made a generous donation toward an annual scholarship award for a deserving college-bound student. Lion Liz was on the agenda to present the newly developed selection criteria and rules going forward for fellowships. This scholarship foundation meeting is open to all lions within SD District 4L6.
