The SDMLC PRIDE continues its collection and donation of glasses for the community. While August was a warm, weather month, the Lions were “on fire” collecting glasses from around the County. We partnered this month with the San Diego Rancho Bernardo Lions Club, JC Penney North County, COSTCO Poway, and our local neighborhoods. Thank you everyone for continuing to extend the gift of vision. Our efforts to collect netted 641 clear glasses, 119 sunglasses, 149 eyeglass cases, and 45 pairs of single lenses without frames. Please help us continue the momentum as we enter the Fall and Winter months. The PRIDE is very grateful for the community involvement and the organizations that have continued to contribute on a regular basis. Thank you! We are always STRONGER TOGETHER.
