Join the Lions
The SDMLC was contacted by a local community member in need of a low cost/no cost hearing aid, and did not drive or have anyone to assist her. The SDMLC reached out to multiple lion members/sources to find someone who partners with hearing organizations who offer low cost/no cost services to those in need. Connecting with THE HEARING FOUNDATION, the SDMLC helped this community member assisting with collecting and completing all the necessary information to apply for a hearing aid. In speaking with THE HEARING FOUNDATION Director, he indicated that this referred community member did in fact qualify for hearing services and a hearing aid at low or no cost. SDMLC was glad to be of service helping to extend the gift of hearing to those in need.
