On December 18th, on a warm, sunny Saturday afternoon, the SDMLC PRIDE and community members of Miramar/Mira Mesa gathered at Miramar National Cemetery to share in the spirit of the season by honoring our fallen brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, friends and family members with holiday wreaths placed at graveside. The placement of wreaths was done in partnership with Miramar National Cemetery and Wreaths Across America. In just a few short hours, 19 volunteers placed wreaths on approximately 300 of our fallen members in remembrance. By day’s end, holiday wreaths covered the entire National Cemetery.
