Fanning Island is a part of the Republic of Kiribati and has a population of approximately 1800 people. This International educational and health mission was to help the island with donated books, school supplies, medical supplies, dental care items, sports equipment, pens, pencil, charts, food, and more. Additionally, a visit to the school and class were visited by the lions who visited with the children. The Council of the island will sort all donations and equally distribute to all families. Overall cash donations ($200) and supplies were both donated during the visit by all on the visit. Thank you Lions for helping our international communities in need.
