In partnership with San Diego Rancho Bernardo Lions Club and the San Diego Miramar Lions Club, a total of 1161 glasses, lenses, and cases were collected and donated during the month of February 2023. The glasses consisted of clear glasses, sunglasses, single lenses, and eyeglass cases that can be cleaned and categorized for reissue to our community members. The PRIDE offers their continued thanks to all the contributing big box stores, places of worship, schools, and optometry shops who are sensitive to extending the gift of vision to those who cannot afford it and to help our environment by keeping needed glasses out of the local landfills.
