On Sunday, September 29th, at 4:00pm, Debbie Lamb, Vince Patron and I met with Lion Jay and Lion Julio at the McDonalds on Miramar Road to complete our application process to become a Lion’s club.
Currently, we are too small in membership to be our own club, but we can become a branch. The La Jolla Presidents Lions Club, has generously stepped up to sponsor our Branch until such time we have enough members to stand alone (current POC is Lion Julio Deguzman). We are able to become a club once we have 20+ members. Our Global Team Leader and my mentor for this process will be Lion Jay Ruiz (roaringlion4l6@aol.com).
