The first quarter Northwest Region Meeting took place on Saturday, July 16, 2022.  There were 18 Lions present that included members from the District 4L6 Leadership/cabinet.  Guest Speaker District Governor Lion Jay Ruiz, Jr, 1st Vice District Governor Lion Julio DeGuzman, PCC Mary Rynearson, PDG Norm Mackenzie, Lion Paul Walters, Northwest Region Chair Liz Yoe, Zone Chair Angel Aguilar, Zone Chair Rachel White, SD Miramar Lions Club 1st Vice President Lion Sandi Ambrose, and lion members of several clubs.  The meeting included a garden continental breakfast, coffee, juice, and great lion fellowship on a beautiful Saturday morning.  The winner of the big door prize was Lion Ernest Fagan, SDMLC, Marketing Communications Chair, and Member of the Board of Directors.  

As we learned something special about each other during the leadership icebreaker, almost everyone left with a garden succulent arrangement to remember our first meeting of the year held under the trees in beautiful San Diego.  More importantly, each lion in attendance holds a “memorable piece of knowledge” about each lion who shared that day.  Do you remember?  Thank you for participating as we continue to lead “and learn.”

Important Upcoming Dates 4L6 District 

The Northwest Region Meeting started with a light breakfast at 0845, the meeting started at 0910, and concluded at 1041.  Some enjoyed sitting in the garden long after and enjoyed extended time having coffee with friends.  It was comfortable, informative, and casual.  Looking forward to the next Region meeting – hope to see you there!
