The SDMLC “PRIDE” was able to collect glasses from local organizations, churches, businesses, and community locations for this month’s collection and donation to the San Diego Optometric Vision Clinic in downtown San Diego. For the month of April, we donated a total of 619 eyeglasses and 81 eyeglass cases. We are grateful for the support of all the local optometry businesses, libraries, churches, and Costco who are partnered with us in this monthly endeavor and to the community at large. Giving the extended gift of vision to our community in need can change a person’s life forever. We are ever grateful to be a part of this monthly, volunteer activity.
