During the month of October, San Diego and Imperial County Lions District 4L6 HUNGER Chair Lion Paul began the annual monthly drive for peanut butter donations.  You might ask –  why peanut butter?  Peanut butter has several health benefits, including long shelf life, being very portable, and is an energy and nutrient-rich food.  Also, peanut butter does not have to be cooked!  When donating peanut butter via the local food banks, not only do the families who are in need receive this food product, but the staff teaches about the nutritious values of how to eat healthily and maintain balanced meals.  The annual Peanut Butter Drive 2022 continues to help fight hunger in our community, and every jar counts!  Let’s go Lions and donate peanut butter this month.   The San Diego Miramar Lions Club donated two cases of peanut butter in support of this annual District endorsed project.  “We Serve”
