June is always the month that New Officer training is held to help Lions get a head-start with their new responsibilities or with any updates that will help them start the new year. Officers and members of the SDMLC attended the District’s annual Learning Academy Day. Our President was assigned to teach Region and Zone Chairs about quarterly reporting, district meetings, and topics of importance. Region and Zone Chairs received multiple handouts and copies of training documents for the coming year along with “jeopardy gifts” during a region/zone Q&A fun learning session. The SDMLC PRIDE attended all the meetings from 10:00am to 2:00pm. This academy learning day was filled with lots of new and interesting information. Let’s get ready to ROAR in LY 2023-2024!
