Join the Lions
This year’s Multi-Club Installation and Induction took place on August 15, 2026. Three Lions Clubs in the 4L6 District sponsored it. Sponsoring clubs included the San Diego Miramar Lions Club, the San Diego Executive Lions Club, and the San Diego Stars Lions Club.
The creation of an all-club event brings all Lions together for great dining, shared laughs, and lion fellowship, with singing, dancing, and thoughts from a Keynote Speaker. Chief of Police, La Mesa, Ray Sweeney, presented a wonderful speech about community sharing that both his community and ours share the term “We Serve” this year.
This LY2026-2027 year, 22 clubs participated and attended, and over 140+ Lions and friends of the Lions were in attendance. Cupcakes filled our centerpieces with several gourmet bakers from around the District, many raffles, door prizes, and clubs showed up in full lion-themed gear or their colorful club shirts. We ate, we “roared,” we laughed, we shared.
What a wonderful all-club event, and we are already planning next year’s theme. Thank you to all the clubs and Lions who attended and supported this important event to bring us all together.
A special thank you to the PRIDE of Lions at SD Miramar LC who wore their red 250th America shirts, and to Lion Irving, who spoke about Lions Access for All – a very important topic for all of us to learn about to always ensure inclusion.
